From Maynooth Scouts Heritage
This was our one and only camp in Scotland. This was a saga of a camp due to the Troop travelling overland on public transport. They got the ferry to Holyhead then public trains up to Edinburgh. Great Britain was going through serious flooding at the time which only added to the sense of adventure for the Scouts.
The Troop camped in Patrols in Fordell FIrs from where they explored Edinburgh.
